The Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region is relaunching a system in favor of the industry of the future in order to support SMEs1, AND2 and major groups based in the region.

The purpose of the device “Industry Region — Industry of the Future Council” is to support companies individually in their industrial development projects and their appropriation of the tools and methods of the industry of the future.

To do this, the “Industry Region — Industry of the Future Council” system provides companies with expertise on predefined areas. This expertise aims to enable the company to validate and initiate an industrial project of the future.

Through this system, regional companies can take actions that allow them to integrate the technologies, processes and methods of the industry of the future.

This system favors actions that contribute to the initiation of action plans, to carry out preliminary studies and to experiment with innovative solutions.

Businesses can request the “Industry Region — Industry of the Future Council” system on the following themes:

  • Information system mapping;

Operation of the “Industry Region — Industry of the Future Council” system

Businesses submit their needs to the ENE, which is responsible for receiving and processing requests.

Depending on the need defined jointly, ENE offers the company service providers capable of carrying out the action. These service providers are selected from a panel of solution providers, established via a call for referrals. The company then chooses the service provider who will support it and signs a contract with it. It should be noted that the company must put in competition with at least two service providers.

The Region finances each action implemented up to 16,000 euros excluding tax, provided that the company itself provides coverage for the same amount. The grant is therefore awarded up to 50% of the expenses incurred and carried out.
